Tanaza Wi-Fi Has Been Deployed in Hotels Throughout Nigeria

A Tanaza partner in Nigeria chooses Tanaza's networking solutions to provide a fast and reliable Internet connection to hundreds of hotel guests.

Tanaza, the multi-vendor software for Wi-Fi cloud management, has been chosen by hotels all over Nigeria. The hotel chain opted for Tanaza's multi-vendor software to provide a stable connection for hotel guests. Tanaza’s solution is extremely easy-to-manage and includes centralized management of access points located in multiple locations.

Currently, a good Wi-Fi connection is a must-have service in the hospitality industry and according to our customers, Tanaza's Dashboard is a most valued feature. The Tanaza Dashboard allows hotels to get to know their customers as a result of social logins on the hotel splash pages. At the same time, its  software provides apprehensive guests with an opportunity to communicate through a free or low cost network without providing too much personal information, while also avoiding the unusually high international roaming fees for connection. Tanaza also  helps IT managers avoid the improper use of Wi-Fi through bandwidth monitoring per SSID and abuse control.

Tanaza's Wi-Fi cloud management solution requires no additional effort and can handle the demand of multiple simultaneous users, its all-inclusive price (with no extra costs) is also affordable for small hotels and B&Bs.

Sebastiano Bertani, Tanaza CEO

Thus far, the Tanaza Wi-Fi solution has been adopted in 5 hotel locations in Nigeria.  The network's authentication methods differ from hotel to hotel, with some hosting an SSID with captive portal and social login, while others display an authentication splash page that includes voucher based authentication.  In nations like Nigeria, where 3G/4G and mobile connectivity is costly, Tanaza's Wi-Fi can help monetize guest Wi-Fi and improve the customer’s satisfaction. Some of the hotels added to their splash pages various types of advertisements and discounts, and some used Wi-Fi to promote additional services.

Thanks to the implementation of Tanaza's network, its hotel clients have enabled secure authentication on their networks and reduced expenses for on-site maintenance of their network by remote monitoring and troubleshooting their system's operation. Tanaza's enterprise-grade features provides a fast and reliable Internet service that can help improve customer satisfaction and encourage positive reviews on popular sites like Tripadvisor.com and Booking.com.

The networks were deployed in September 2015 and have since hosted over 4,500 connections with the most popular authentication methods being Facebook login and Google login, used by 67.7% and 26.7% of the users respectively.
